Tasting notes: Initial cherry aromas followed by sweet spices, “garrigue” (particularly thyme), cocoa and roasting, which combine to create a mellow bouquet with plenty of character. Very smooth on the palate, with a very elegant, balanced texture and a delightful freshness on the finish that adds to its length.
Tasting suggestions: This wine may be served with a variety of foods, particularly Mediterranean dishes, but also red meat, white meat and poultry. However, the “garrigue” aromas will not be brought out if the dishes are too spicy or sweet.
