Tasting notes: A sensation of softness on the nose, with a harmonious mix of aromas, including cherry, tobacco, thyme, fig, vanilla and a hint of smoke. Very smooth on the palate, with the emphasis on the fruit. A delightfully long, fresh finish.
Tasting suggestions: Although this Classic 2009 is very pleasant now, its typical “garrigue” aromas will be further revealed with time. An ideal accompaniment for many types of food, apart from very strongly-flavoured dishes, for which the Grand Vin will be more suitable.
