Tasting notes:
This wine has a very typical bouquet of cherries (Morello variety) and spices, including turmeric, cinnamon and hints of thyme. On the palate, these aromas add lightness to the wine, which is enhanced by the smooth, fresh structure. This balance lingers, with a pleasing persistence.
Serving suggestions:
This wine is best served at around 18 °C. Aeration will be beneficial in its early years. Easy-drinking in its youth, it will develop over time to reveal its Southern typicity, with an increasing presence of “garrigue” aromas. The wine’s typicity and freshness are best expressed if served with a wide range of Mediterranean dishes and all types of meat, particularly lamb.
