Tasting notes:

This wine contains a high proportion of Grenache and is a quite sustained ruby colour. The nose is fresh, complex and very mellow, with toasty, smoky, garrigue, cocoa and liquorice notes combined with dark berry and Morello cherry aromas. Initially very smooth, enhanced by a delightful freshness that extends on the palate: the delicate substance carries the range of aromas through to a long finish.

Serving suggestions:

This wine will benefit from airing while young and should be served at a temperature of around 18 °C. It’s a pleasing wine to enjoy young but does have laying-down potential and will continue to express its terroir for up to ten years. It may be served with a wide range of dishes, apart from those that are too spicy or sweet-and-sour.
