Tasting notes: The initial bouquet is one of great sweetness, with aromas of cocoa bean, sweet spices and thyme harmoniously combined with toasted bread notes. Smooth and full of flavour on the palate, with delightfully long-lasting red berry and spicy flavours.

Tasting suggestions: This wine’s elegance and richness is best expressed at a temperature of around 18°C. This “Grand Vin” is an ideal accompaniment to a wide range of strongly-flavoured dishes (game, meat cooked in sauce), red meat and many other foods. If opened now, it should be decanted to achieve its full expression. However, its richness means that it may be laid down for many years.
