Soil: Clay-and limestone (sauvignon), schist (piquepoul) Grape variety: Sauvignon 80 %, Piquepoul 20 % Harvest: By hand, in small crates, with sorting Harvest start date: 2 to 3 september Vinification: Slow pressing – Settling - Fermentation in 1-wine barrels (50 %) and 2-wine barrels (50 %) Maturing: In barrels on the lees, with stirring Alcohol content: 13,5 % vol. Packaging: 75 cl Bordeaux bottles


Tasting notes:

This wine combines a number of aromas to form a complex, soft, mellow bouquet. These include hazelnut and roasted almonds, smoky notes and floral notes such as heather. These aromas are also present on the palate, supported by a full, balanced structure that offers a delightful freshness.


Serving suggestions:

Fresh and well structured, this wine may be served with a wide range of dishes: fish, especially in a sauce, white meat, cheese or even foie gras.
